After a magnitude 7 earthquake decimated the Haitian capital of Port-Au-Prince on Jan. 12, 2010, the American Red Cross began delivering aid to the millions of people who were injured or left homeless.

American Red Cross volunteers spent weeks aboard the USNS Comfort translating for the doctors who were treating the most severely injured by the quake.

Volunteers also graciously donated their time comforting the thousands of US citizens who were being flown from Port-Au-Prince to Homestead Air Reserve Base, Miami International Airport and Ft. Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport.

Watch as they share their stories of hope with us.
